The Chinese character for man looks like a man with no head and no arms. Strange, huh?
Of course the character may have changed through the years.

It is pronounced 'ren'2 (the tone falls).

I am trying to find a way to write in Chinese in this blog.

I really enjoy learning Chinese writing. The characters are so interesting. Many of them come from drawing of objects. The character for 'woman' looks like a woman who is weaving on a hand loom.

The character for 'good' combines a woman with her child.
